leafy sea dragon

this aquatic animal is named after dragons in chinese mythology it is camaflauged extremely well so well in my oppinion that i would have to have it bite me before i found it. like the male seahorses it carries the eggs, all two-hundered!!! that reason right there is what put this guy on the list. i cannot fathom carrying around all those eggs so that is why the leafy seadragon made on this list.

for this post i am not going to be posting about what i nrmally do, instead i am going to talk about the efforts of the spca. im pretty sure everyone knows what the spca is but if not here is a description. the spca is an animal protection group that works to help improve the lives of animals by provding food,water,shelter, and a home. these recued animals are then given the medical attention that they need. if all goes well the animals are then put up for adoption. they also do work outside of the office by going out and helping abondoned or abused animals. if you feel that you would like to help you can go to your local spca's website or vivit in person they would be happy to have a neww volenteer or even just a donation. so if you are serious about helping animals consider the spca.

sucker footed bat

this animal is quite unique. it inhabits the quickly dissapearing forests of madagascar.scientists discovered it while on a reaserch trip in the madagascar jungle. unlike most bats which have claws to help them hang on to trees to get food the sucker footed bat has actual suckers which it uses to attach to leaves. this bat is not in to much trouble when it comes to its enviorement being destroyed because it is able to live in areas that have been completely degraded.

blob fish

the blob fish is a a fish that lives in areas that are inacsesable to humans most of what we know about them comes from the dead carcases found floating in the water or washed up on shore this is probably one of the weirdest animals known to man because instead of swimming through the water it is just less dense enough to be able to float through the depths instead of floating to the surface and dying.

tapir

the tapir is a mammal. they are roughly pig like in shape with a short elephant like snout.They inhabit jungle and forest regions of South America, Central America, and Southeast Asia. they are on the endangered species list. Their closest relatives are the other odd-toed ungulates, horses and rhinoceroses.
